New hope for Behçet's sufferers: biosimilar drug under study for stubborn sores

Summary
This study looks at how well a biosimilar of ustekinumab works for people with Behçet's syndrome who have painful mouth and genital sores that didn't get better with standard treatments. Researchers will track 208 adults over 52 weeks to see if the drug stops these sores without causing side effects that force people to stop treatment. They will also compare results to patients taking another drug called apremilast. No extra visits or tests are needed—just routine care data.
