First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested whether a cream containing sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) and L-arginine could increase blood flow in the genital area of healthy premenopausal women. Thirteen women participated and watched videos while a special camera measured temperature changes. The goal was to see if the cream works better than a placebo for treating sexual arousal disorder.
