Researchers investigate survival patterns for aggressive digestive tumors

NCT ID NCT04365023

Summary

This study analyzed existing medical records to understand how a rare, aggressive type of digestive neuroendocrine tumor behaves and responds to different chemotherapy treatments. Researchers looked at data from 168 adult patients in France who had this specific tumor type. The goal was to learn which treatments might help patients live longer and to better define this rare cancer category for future care.
