New study to track superbug infections in transplant patients

Summary
This study will follow 1,000 adults who have received a stem cell transplant to see how often they pick up a hard-to-treat bacteria called MBL-CRE in the anal area. Researchers want to learn who gets infected, what factors raise the risk, and how the bacteria resist antibiotics. Participants will provide routine swab samples, and no experimental treatment is given.
