Could a birth tissue implant ease arthritis pain in the hand?

Summary
This study tests a special implant made from donated umbilical cord tissue to treat a type of hand arthritis called STT osteoarthritis. The implant is placed between the small bones of the wrist to reduce pain and improve hand function. The trial will include 14 adults aged 18 to 75 who have not gotten relief from standard treatments. The main goal is to see if the implant can lower pain and disability scores by at least 25% one year after surgery.
