First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called STSA-1301, given as a shot under the skin, for people with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) — a condition where the immune system destroys platelets, raising bleeding risk. The trial involves 56 healthy volunteers and ITP patients to check safety, how the drug works in the body, and whether it can increase platelet counts. It is an early-stage study (Phase 1/2) and is not a cure, but aims to help control the disease.
