Radical stroke surgery tested on most severe cases
NCT ID NCT06388148
Summary
This trial is testing whether a surgical procedure to remove a blood clot, plus standard medical care, works better than standard care alone for people having the most severe type of stroke. It will involve about 286 patients who have a major blockage and a very large area of brain damage. The goal is to see if the procedure can safely improve recovery and reduce disability in these critical cases.
