New study tests if a different feeding tube can help stroke patients swallow again
NCT ID NCT07302594
Summary
This study aims to find out which feeding tube method works better for stroke survivors who have trouble swallowing. Researchers will compare a temporary tube placed through the mouth to the esophagus against the standard nose-to-stomach tube. They want to see which method is safer and more effective at helping patients regain their ability to swallow food and protect their airways.
