Special suit aims to ease stiffness and improve balance for stroke survivors

NCT ID NCT06702163

Summary

This study tested whether a special, non-invasive suit that delivers mild electrical stimulation could help people who have had a stroke. It focused on improving problems like muscle stiffness (spasticity), balance, and mobility. Thirty French-speaking stroke survivors with ongoing stiffness and balance issues tried the suit to see if it made daily movement easier and improved their quality of life.
