Can a pill boost Botox's power for stroke recovery?
NCT ID NCT07482618
Summary
This study is looking at whether adding an oral medication called tolperison helps stroke patients who still have significant muscle stiffness and nerve pain even after receiving Botox injections. Researchers will follow 40 stroke patients, comparing those who get Botox plus tolperison to those who get Botox alone. They will measure changes in muscle tightness, pain levels, and walking speed to see if the combination therapy is more effective.
