Vibration therapy shows promise for stroke Patients' arm movement
NCT ID NCT07128823
Summary
This study tested if adding a 15-minute vibration treatment to standard arm skill training could improve recovery for people who had a stroke 3 to 6 months ago. Researchers worked with 60 participants to see if the combined therapy was better at reducing stiffness, improving movement, and restoring hand strength and sensation compared to training alone. The goal was to find more effective rehabilitation strategies to help regain arm function after a stroke.
