Vibration therapy shows promise for stroke arm recovery

NCT ID NCT07128823

Summary

This study tested if adding a vibrating device to standard arm therapy helps people recover arm function after a stroke. Sixty participants who had a stroke 3 to 6 months earlier received either standard therapy or standard therapy plus vibration on their arm muscles. Researchers measured arm movement, strength, and sensation over several weeks to see which approach worked better.
