First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether combining task-oriented walking training with core-strengthening exercises helps stroke survivors improve their mobility, balance, and walking ability. 54 adults who had a stroke 6 months to 2 years earlier took part in an 8-week program. The goal was to see if this combined approach works better than standard therapy for regaining movement and reducing fall risk.
