Robotic arm meets brain stimulation: new device tested for stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07270484

Summary

This study tested a new hybrid device designed to help people regain arm movement after a stroke. The device combines a robotic arm support with gentle electrical muscle stimulation. Researchers worked with 24 stroke survivors to see if the system was easy to use, safe, and practical for therapy sessions, rather than to measure its treatment benefits.
