Can a leg device help heal the brain after a stroke?
NCT ID NCT07197996
Summary
This study is testing if two different leg devices can improve blood flow to the brain in people who have just had a stroke. Both devices are already used to prevent leg blood clots. Researchers will measure brain activity and blood flow in 80 stroke patients to see if either device helps during the critical first 36 hours after a stroke.
