Brain zaps and mirrors: new hope for stroke patients who Can't see one side

NCT ID NCT07228871

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two therapies—a non-invasive brain stimulation technique and mirror therapy—can help stroke patients who experience spatial neglect, a condition where they ignore one side of their body or space. Researchers will work with 22 adults who had a stroke in the right side of their brain within the last year. The goal is to see if this combination improves their awareness and daily function more than standard care alone.
