Summary

This study tested a small, handheld device to measure leg muscle strength in people who have had a stroke. Researchers wanted to see if this tool could provide more accurate and consistent measurements than current methods. The goal is to give physical therapists better information to create personalized recovery plans. Twenty adults who had a stroke more than three months prior participated in a single testing session.
