First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a neuroprotective drug (butylphthalide) to a standard clot-busting drug (tenecteplase) helps people with mild disabling stroke recover better. About 1,062 adults aged 18-80 who can be treated within 4.5 hours of symptoms will be randomly assigned to get either the combination or the standard drug alone. The main goal is to see if more people are free of disability 90 days after treatment.
