New tablet aims to protect the mind after a stroke

Summary
This study is testing whether a new under-the-tongue tablet can help with memory and thinking problems that sometimes happen after a stroke. About 226 people who recently had a stroke will take either the real tablet or a placebo for 24 weeks. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the tablet is safe and if it helps improve cognitive test scores.
