Can a routine blood test predict your stroke recovery?
NCT ID NCT07471061
Summary
This study aims to find out if simple ratios calculated from a standard blood test (comparing certain white blood cell counts to a protein called albumin) can help doctors predict how severe a stroke will be and how well a patient might recover. Researchers will follow 60 adults recently diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain). They will check if these easy-to-get blood test results are linked to the patient's initial stroke severity and their functional recovery weeks later.
