Mind over muscle: new study tracks stroke Patients' arm awareness
NCT ID NCT06569771
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at how people who had a stroke perceive the use of their weaker arm during intensive rehabilitation. Researchers want to see if patients' own sense of arm use matches their actual physical ability. The goal is to better understand how awareness and function relate, which could improve rehab approaches. About 100 adults who had their first stroke and have arm weakness will take part.
