Flashing glasses aim to steady wobbly ankles in athletes
NCT ID NCT07255625
Summary
This study tested whether a special balance training program using stroboscopic glasses could help female volleyball players with chronic ankle instability. The glasses flash on and off, making vision less reliable to force the body to rely more on ankle sensation for balance. Researchers compared this new approach to standard balance exercises to see if it better improved stability, jumping ability, and confidence in the ankle.
