Simple stretches may ease voice problems and anxiety after thyroid removal
NCT ID NCT07277647
Summary
This study tested whether simple head and neck stretching exercises could help people recover after thyroid surgery. Researchers compared 103 patients who did the stretches to those who received only standard care. They measured voice quality, anxiety levels, and psychological resilience over the first month after surgery to see if the exercises made a difference.
