Can kind words calm crisis? study tests simple stress relief for Moms-to-Be in ER
NCT ID NCT07407322
Summary
This study tested whether adding positive, encouraging statements to routine emergency care could help reduce stress and anxiety in high-risk pregnant women visiting the emergency department. Researchers compared 102 women who received either standard care plus affirmation messages or standard care alone. The goal was to find simple, non-medical ways to improve emotional well-being during a stressful medical situation.
