Summary
This study tested a 10-week in-person stress management program for 188 Spanish-speaking Hispanic men who had treatment for localized prostate cancer. The program taught relaxation and coping techniques to help improve quality of life, reduce distress, and ease symptoms like fatigue and pain. Results showed that learning these skills can help men feel better emotionally and physically after cancer treatment.
