Scientists probe link between Kids' tooth condition and dental visit stress

NCT ID NCT07389148

Summary

This study aims to understand if children with a tooth enamel condition called Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) experience more physical stress during dental visits. Researchers will compare 45 children with MIH to 45 without by measuring stress hormones in saliva, heart rate, and oxygen levels during a routine check-up. The goal is to gather information to help dentists provide more comfortable care, but this study does not test any treatments.
