First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether children with a common tooth enamel condition called MIH feel more stress during dental checkups. Researchers will measure stress by testing saliva for cortisol and checking heart rate and oxygen levels in 90 children aged 8 to 12. No treatments or extra procedures are involved—just a routine dental exam. The goal is to help dentists better understand and care for anxious children.
