Scientists track stress in IVF parents to protect newborns

NCT ID NCT07408453

Summary

This study aims to understand how stress during pregnancy affects babies born through IVF and other fertility treatments. Researchers will follow 100 couples from early pregnancy through birth, collecting surveys and saliva samples to measure stress levels. They want to see if parental stress is linked to the baby's health at birth, and whether genetic connections between mother and baby make a difference.
