Simple stress ball or kind touch may ease mammogram fear
NCT ID NCT07562828
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests two simple, drug-free methods to help women feel less anxious and experience less pain during mammograms and breast ultrasounds. 122 women having these tests for the first time will be split into three groups: one will squeeze a stress ball, another will receive kind words and a gentle touch, and the third will get standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety and pain levels to see which approach works best.
