Summary
This study tested if using a simple stress ball could help patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers wanted to see if squeezing the ball could reduce pain, improve sleep quality, and help stabilize vital signs like heart rate. The trial involved 60 critically ill patients who were awake and able to communicate.
