NCT ID NCT07150936

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a stress ball during hernia surgery can lower anxiety, reduce pain, and keep heart rate and blood pressure more stable. About 72 adults having their first hernia surgery will be split into two groups: one uses the stress ball, the other gets standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety and pain with simple scales and track vital signs before, during, and after the operation.
