Summary
This study is testing if using a simple stress ball during hernia surgery can help patients feel less anxious and experience less pain. Researchers are comparing 72 patients who use a stress ball during their procedure to those who do not. They are measuring anxiety levels, pain scores, and vital signs like heart rate to see if this easy, drug-free method makes a difference.
