First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This pilot study worked with 10 Apsáalooke (Crow) youth entering 5th and 6th grade to see if a summer camp focused on cultural traditions like the clan system and creation story could strengthen family and community bonds. The goal was to test whether the approach was feasible and engaging, not to measure health outcomes. The study was completed and helped gather ideas for future programs.
