Pumping iron for peace of mind: study tests if weights ease Seniors' daily struggles
NCT ID NCT07323212
Summary
This small study looked at whether a 10-week strength training program could help adults aged 65 and older perform their desired daily activities more easily and improve their mental health. Six participants completed guided, twice-weekly workouts and answered questionnaires about their task performance, satisfaction, depression, and stress before and after the program. The goal was to see if this type of exercise could make everyday life better for older adults.
