NCT ID NCT03650374

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at whether doing strength exercises with the non-surgical leg right after meniscus repair or transplant can prevent muscle loss in the leg that is immobilized. 50 adults who had surgery were randomly assigned to either do these exercises or follow standard rehab. The goal was to see if this approach helps maintain leg strength and improve knee function during recovery.
