Eating on a timer: new study aims to cut heart risk in childhood cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT07009288
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests if time-restricted eating (eating only during certain hours) combined with coaching calls can help adult survivors of childhood cancer lose weight and reduce their risk for heart disease and diabetes. About 300 survivors will either get coaching and a meal schedule or just standard advice. The goal is to see if this approach works better than usual care for improving health.
