First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares two anesthesia methods for strabismus (crossed eyes) surgery in adults: general anesthesia (being fully asleep) versus a combination of sedation with a numbing injection around the eye. The goal is to see which method leads to higher patient and surgeon satisfaction. The study will involve 60 adults with horizontal or cyclovertical strabismus.
