First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at two different support programs to help people recently involved with the justice system start or restart HIV prevention (PrEP) or treatment (ART) and substance use care. About 400 participants will be assigned to either standard patient navigation or a shared decision-making model where they choose from a menu of community services. The goal is to see which approach works better for getting people into care.
