Gut bacteria swap may defeat Antibiotic-Resistant superbugs
NCT ID NCT07094984
Summary
This study tests whether a fecal transplant (FMT) or probiotics can remove dangerous antibiotic-resistant bacteria from the gut of 360 adults who carry these superbugs. Participants will receive either FMT, probiotics, or a special diet. The goal is to see if these approaches can clear the resistant bacteria better than diet alone, helping to fight the global threat of antibiotic resistance.
