Hidden stomach bug hunt during routine colon check
NCT ID NCT07346521
Summary
This study aims to learn how common silent H. pylori stomach infections are in healthy adults. Researchers will offer 1,000 people getting a routine colonoscopy an optional extra stomach scope to take tiny tissue samples. The goal is to see if this silent infection and other early tissue changes are linked to lifestyle or family cancer history, not to provide treatment.
