New pill joins fight against advanced stomach cancer in global trial

Summary
This global study is testing whether adding a new oral capsule called UTD2 to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal cancer live longer. It will involve about 778 adults who have not yet received drug treatment for their advanced cancer. The main goals are to see if the combination is safe and if it improves overall survival compared to standard chemo alone.
