New drug duo aims to halt aggressive stomach cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether two oral drugs, avutometinib and defactinib, can help people with a specific, hard-to-treat type of advanced stomach cancer live longer without their cancer getting worse. The trial is for adults whose cancer has spread or cannot be removed by surgery and has continued to grow after standard chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if this drug combination can keep the cancer from progressing for at least six months.
