Can practicing on a model ease the stress of stoma care?

Summary
This study is testing whether a hands-on learning experience, where patients practice stoma care on a realistic model, is better than standard education alone. It aims to see if this practice helps new stoma patients feel more skilled, confident, and less anxious about managing their care. The trial is currently suspended and was enrolling 70 adults in Turkey who have a stoma for the first time.
