New bead treatment fights bone infection in severe bed sores

Summary
This study is testing whether adding STIMULAN VG beads to standard surgery and antibiotics works better for treating bone infections in severe, deep pressure ulcers (bed sores). About 60 adults with these infections will be randomly assigned to receive either the new bead treatment plus standard care or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the beads help the surgical wound heal completely and stay closed.
