Summary

This study tests whether a brain-computer interface can detect when a person might be accidentally awake during general anesthesia. Researchers will record brain activity from 48 right-handed surgery patients before, during, and after anesthesia. The goal is to improve monitoring and prevent traumatic awareness events.
