Simple sticker aims to get patients off IV antibiotics faster

NCT ID NCT07361185

Summary

This study tested whether placing a simple reminder sticker on a patient's chart could help doctors switch them from intravenous (IV) to oral (pill) antibiotics sooner. It involved 168 adult patients in Thailand who were already receiving IV antibiotics for infections. The goal was to see if this small prompt could safely reduce the time patients needed IV treatment and potentially shorten hospital stays.
