Can common steroids rescue livers damaged by medications?

Summary

This study is testing whether adding steroid medication to standard care helps people recover from severe liver injury caused by drugs. It will involve 232 adults with this condition and high bilirubin levels. Patients will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone or standard care plus steroids to see which group recovers better.
