Could less steroids be better for Immunotherapy-Related liver problems?
NCT ID NCT05345847
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether closely monitoring patients with mild to moderate liver inflammation from cancer immunotherapy and only giving steroids if needed works as well as giving high-dose steroids right away. About 56 adults with grade 2 or 3 immune-related hepatitis will be randomly assigned to one of these two approaches. The goal is to see if the steroid-sparing method can safely control the liver inflammation without causing more serious problems.
