Can we use fewer steroids for Immunotherapy-Linked hepatitis?

NCT ID NCT05345847

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether closely monitoring patients with mild to moderate liver inflammation from cancer immunotherapy, and only giving steroids if needed, is as safe and effective as starting high-dose steroids right away. About 56 adults with grade 2 or 3 immune-related hepatitis will be randomly assigned to one of these two approaches. The goal is to see if the steroid-sparing strategy can control the inflammation without causing more serious liver problems.
