Listening to kids: new study aims to measure the Real-Life impact of steroid treatments
NCT ID NCT07350395
Summary
This study aims to create a new questionnaire to better understand how steroid medications affect the daily lives and well-being of children and young people with rheumatic diseases like juvenile arthritis and lupus. Researchers will talk directly with patients and their parents in focus groups to learn about their experiences with steroids, including both benefits and side effects. The goal is to develop a tool that helps doctors and families make more informed decisions about treatment by measuring its impact on a child's quality of life.
