First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026
Summary
This study tests two common steroids, methylprednisolone and dexamethasone, to see which better reduces brain swelling in patients with brain metastases during radiation therapy. About 400 adults aged 18–75 with brain tumors and moderate disability will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs. The goal is to improve daily function and minimize side effects from the steroids themselves.
